Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

I am only asking you to clarify. I would like to know what you were referring to.

Is that too much to ask?

By the way, I am not CD.

Probably to a state funded hospital or clinic. Next time you see a sign like that, ask someone that works there.

What part of stabilized don't you understand?

Were they pumping arterial blood on their way out, Bone protruding through the skin, Knife still embedded in their body when they left?

As for where, why are you asking me?

I've already told you how to find the answer to that question.

I am a paramedic. I understand stabilization better than most.

The reason I asked where, is simple.

There are only 2 hospitals. There are no other care facilities open 24 hours a day and none are emergency care except for minor ailments.

I also presented this because state law requires them to treat patients if they receive government money.

Look at your post on number 49.

I am trying to figure what you meant there.

Good you understand stabilized. Which IMO means death/
irreparable physical harm is no longer imminent. Emergency care would not be needed after that point. So what is wrong with saying now go home and follow up with your regular doctor or clinic?

As to your where....

Next time you see a sign like that... ask someone that works there.

I did ask them.

You should have seen the blank look.

You can still be in risky situation of health care and need to be hospitalized and be considered stabilized.

I haven't read the entire thread so it may have already been stated but to fix the main problem (high cost of care) they need tort reform to put a cap on frivilous lawsuits.

It costs every doctor in the USA a MINIMUM of $250,000 in malpractice insurance coverage. A doctor goes to school for a decade and has high debt for tuition, THEN on top of that they have to pony up a lot of money just to do business.

Can you imagine that? The insurance companies make out like bandits while we're left holding the bags. There's a start!! Reduce that expenditure alone and you will see more reasonable costs.
