Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

Remember When Afghanistan Was The "Correct" War To Be Fighting?

We may as well pull all troops out while Barry is in the White House, we can go back and finish in 2012 when there is an adult President.

Quote:
U.S. and NATO Afghanistan commander Gen. Stanley McChrystal's long-awaited report containing a request for additional troops on Saturday was submitted to the Pentagon, but the Defense Department will hold it until the Obama administration reconfigures its Afghan strategy. Spokesman Lt. Col. Tadd Sholtis told media outlets today that McChrystal hand delivered the report to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen and NATO Supreme Allied Commander Adm. James Stavridis.
In the report, which was leaked to the Washington Post on Monday, McChrystal warned of "mission failure" if the size of the allied force in Afghanistan remains the same.
The White House, however, has asserted that it will review the nation's entire Afghan strategy before considering McChrystal's request. But top Republican lawmakers have been pressuring the administration to act quickly.

This is so typical of liberal Democrats. They aren't against robust defense or war they cry, they are just always against the war we happen to actually be fighting.

But some theoretical future war? Oh absolutely, under the right conditions they are so there.

Barry has a choice, give the Progressive wing a public health plan or appease the anti-war faction.

Seems he made his choice.

Yeah, the only thing there. The report was actually submitted at the end of August. Apparently oby1 has had more important things to do like kissing arab ### than to fight a war he is responsible for.

Like figure out how to blame Bush for it instead of doing anything he promised to do.

I hope he doesn't blame bush... but I hope he does change strategy to meet the original goal of killing alqueda maybe even nabbing osama bin laden.

right now it seems we are trying to get an ruski-afghani-paki pipeline installed and that was never mentioned in the original text of reason to go.

We can never dominate these people into submission. IMO, we shouldn't try, what they are doing is working for them, let them do it... and we'll focus on the stated target which in reality is probably in pakistan.

and I'm not oppsed to the bombing of the taliban in support of afghan troops... but we really need to realize there is no american sense of "nationality" for the afghani's we are fighting...

we're trying to fight a hundred different tribes with differents wants needs and reasons...

you can't win in afghanistan because there really isn't an afghanistan only lines drawn on a map.

it would be like us trying to invade south america declaring buenos aires was the capital and we'd work our way out thru the states with a policy of capture and hold until the continent were united...

good luck in any three life times...
