Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

Under Baucus Bill, Mandate Penalty Could Lead to Prison, Congressional Analysts Say

Quote:
Under the health care bill being considered in the Senate Finance Committee, Americans who fail to pay a penalty for not buying insurance could be charged up to $25,000 by the Internal Revenue Service or face up to a year in jail, according to congressional analysts.
That's just one of the concerns Republicans say the Democratic-run Congress is ignoring in the rush to pass legislation to overhaul the nation's health care system.

Just clearing out possible people who might vote against them the next time around.

I wonder how the country will look when most of the country's poor people is locked up.

Hey, I thought our founding fathers made sure we didn't have debtors prisons? What gives?

On another note: Aren't those that voted for this piece of excrement, and those who are following his lead, glad how that hopey changey thingy is working out? Look at the monumental mess you folks are putting the rest of the country in? I hope you're proud of yourselves.

Too bad they can't add an amendment to the bill to make sure everyone has to pass an intelligence test, make it retroactive, and all who fail will be put out of the misery they put all of us in, then we can make sure come next election only semi-intelligent/intelligent people will be left to vote and only semi-intelligent/intelligent folks will be running for office. I can't think of any political faction of people who are more ignorant and clueless than liberals.

Every day I get closer and closer to that point of no return. Libs so totally disgust me right now, I can't say any more, else I will be banned, if I'm not already.

it won't be the poor people they put in jail because they will undoubtely quality for govt. assistance it will be the middle class self employed/or self pay who are striving hard to keep afloat that this will hit. You know these are the people rowing the boats full of supplies headed to the to the masses who refuse to work....and also note the boats and supplies are provided to the middle class (via the jobs ) by them awful rich people who the dems have taught the poor too lazy to work masses to hate......

It won't be "poor" people that will be locked up. It will be us....the working class.

On the bright side, it will be a Federal crime, so maybe I'll get to go to one of the country club prisons the politicians go to when they get sent up the river.
