Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

Mooney,

thank you for posting the Warrier creed, my soldiers know it and live it (even if it is only one weekend a month)

as to 'stan....we will be severly hamstrung if the politians dont stop thinking they know more about warfare than a general officer, to include the field commander

iraq...well, if we leave, they are screwed, if we stay we are....

leave warfare to the soldiers, once sent, let them off the leash

as an added benifit for rex....

If I have to follow the geneva conventions, but terrorists dont......does that mean we can try them for war crimes?

just asking becuase im sure beheading isnt an allowed form of punishment im sure

They are doing what they are told to do despite the fact that people like yourself have an opinion on the matter. Troops have my support. No matter what the fight my hat is off to them. I for one will never let them think I am ever questioning their mission or their duty.

Bronc, I admire you and your troops and all men and women who proudly serve. Doesn't matter if you are active or reserve. I was active and reserve. Deployed twice from reserve status. Never think being reserve is less of a soldier! Again; thanks again for your service!

I remember seeing the footage of the marine or soldier years ago that was being carried off the battlefield on a stretcher. He had the presence of mind to sit up and engage targets while the medics was carrying him. Men like this is what has made America, the Home Of the Brave.

For every one hundred men you send us,
Ten should not even be here.
Eighty are nothing but targets.
Nine of them are real fighters;
We are lucky to have them, they the battle make.
Ah, but the one. One of them is a warrior.
And he will bring the others back.

I'm wondering why Dims pissed all over themselves screaming about body armor and up armored Humvees while Bush was in office.

But don't seem to give a #### about our warriors now that Obama's in office?

Guess our warriors are expendable now!
Guess you don't give a #### what they need or want now.

You should be more than ashamed, I cant think of what that would be, don't understand why you wouldn't be.

Ask my moms best friend a Die Hard FORMER DUMMYCRAT what she thinks of Obama. Her son just lost 7 members of his Platoon in one day Because OBAMA is dragging his feet on the Surge. They were all buddies since their first Deployment to Iraq they were his Groomsmen and everything. Now 7 of them are GONE forever.

Thanks, Big Duker, for posting this.

I was brought to tears by it two reasons..
One,pride for these brave soldiers.
Two, out of fear for my step-son, who will be deployed to Afghanistan next month.

I'm hearing that with no blood available on the FOB, soldiers gave blood during the battle which was then immediately transfused into the wounded enabling them to continue the fight.

Taliban casualties were "heavy". I'm guessing the Taliban is not quite used to fighting real warriors versus all those Russian conscripts they pushed around in the 80's.

Losing 100 Taliban every time they engage the U.S. folks can't go on indefinitely.

but Mooney.. the White House doesn't "forsee the return of the Taliban" of course.. they say only 100 members of Al Queda are in Afghanistan and have no bases and can't attack...

if the Commanders in the field see a need for more troops than the need exists. overwhelming force may be needed to get rid of Al Queda in Afghanistan along the Pakistan border. quit playing games and give our guys the sledgehammer they need rather than a tiny plastic childs hammer.
