well.. we looked around after 9/11. decided our troops had been lazy enough and sent them to go do something. (only kidding.) if you don't know why we're in Afghanistan then you should RECHECK the other thread you posted about why are we there. Obama declared Afghanistan to be the 'Right War' so why is he dragging his feet on getting our troops what they need? all he's doing by delaying anything is emboldening the enemy. a book i read titled "One Bullet Away" written by a Marine involved in the Iraq invasion states: "Not making a decision IS a decision"
