it seems we finished a long stint of clinched fists and we still have dictators...??? why would extending an open hand and trying diplomacy for a change of pace be feared??? personally I doubt it will result in either fewer or more dictators... which is the same result as acting johnny bad boy... no change, the world is what it is...

A couple of post were removed from this thread by one of the Mods because they were extremely CRUDE. You all know this is unacceptable behaviour. Please, let's try to keep it somewhat clean. You don't want me to get out the cast iron skillet, do you?

This is because we cannot as a country be seen as weak (Clinton, Obama).

Also, 6under, dictators are not to be negotiated with, this policy only serves to legitimize their hold on power within their countries. Thereby allowing them a larger voice on the international stage, and lending credence to their reign as dictators.

We must be seen by the nation states that would cause us harm, as a strong nation willing to stand up for its allies and national interests.

The net result is not to have more or less dictators, but rather ones that think before they act. (will my actions bring reprisals from my neighbors\ allies?)

I don't care if he wants to roll over & expose his own neck, but it's not just his neck this idiot is putting on the line.

And I don't think I want to say any more, I don't need the infraction.

The real problem is even if he goes away there is a line of others just as bad waiting in line.
