Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

Right....I was talking about becoming self-sufficient....as in generating my own power....for my own consumption....
Like growing my own crops and bagging deer on my own land...

Something you libs despise....Because y'all believe without government telling us how to live, where to work, what job we'll be working at, who to marry, or who to bang...is not a good life.....

Hmmm..I recall some Europeans who became weary of government dictating everything they did took off and risked it all in a new place called "America" some years back.....Y'all might want to crack open a book on the subject......

You can actually do all these things- however I believe you'll have to move away from L.A.

There are folks here in Colorado who really do live "off the grid". They grow most of their own food and collect their own solar energy from panels and most of their own water from cisterns.
Most of these people don't "bag deer" though; a good many of 'em would never consider eating anything that had a brain.

Generating your own power? Were you gonna be using a hydrocarbon powered genset? Wind power? Solar? Hydro-electric?

How about brain power? I hear it is in high demand and would be an improvement to our current elected officials we currently have energizing our country in Washington..

Solar array, wind-power or a ground source heat pump......

As far as being self-sufficient......
Many libs in Cali would like to tax the pizz out of people who use solar power for private use and Cali is also considering taxing vegetable seeds purchased by the home gardener....

Hmmm...before to long...the US will be like Romania was back in the 80's........The store shelves were bare and it was illegal to grow your own food.....oh wait...that sounds just like Obama's workers' paradises in Cuba and North Korea..... right now....

I used the wrong word. The right one is banned.

Edison was a "good" businessman. Tesla was a genuine genius. If we were using Tesla's grid, there wouldn't be a grid. No need for one. There wouldn't be an energy shortage, a fossil fuels problem, a pollution "crisis", I could go on. Course we'd have weapons that would make a nuke look like a cherry bomb. I suspect that's part of why he kept most of his designs only in his head and took them to the grave.

The "helpless" being whomever the libs decide they are and only for as long as they fit the liberal agenda.
