Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

You speak/type "personally", your "brothers/sisters in arms" aren't that generous. They despise success UNLESS the fed gov't is somehow involved.

I don't have power I have three diesels... and one gets shared a plenty... but the guy helps collect grease and takes a turn running the reactor for a fillup on his pick-up.

the gennie (looking doubtful at this point because of restrictions on size) would be an asynchronous type that would get its excitation from the the grid. this means it would only work while the grid was "up" and would not be a back-up generator.

Alliant energy will not approve a 30kw unit. They only want to approve a 5k which would have to run nearly continuously to really do any good.

btw yeah my meter would spin backwards sending my power out to the grid... sharing... electricity... lol for whatever you get charged by alliant.

but if you're in the neighborhood (300 feet of my house) you are welcome to share my wireless router... for free... the neighbor promptly notified me last month when it went down and she lost connection to the internet.

it was a funny conversation... hi I'm nancy from acrossed the way... did you know your internet connection is down???

lol yes, well atleast she didn't say our connection is down...

you can also sit for free on the bench seat I put up next to the bicycle trail that runs past the end of the property.

and you're welcome to mow all the yard you want to... I'm sure the boy will even pitch in my gas for free..
