Bingo!!!! We have a 21' Proline and on occasion tow it from our place on the water to a diff area using our Chevy Silverado. We are an enviromentalist's and animal rights activist's worst nightmares for what we drive, what we eat (meat!). Have to chuckle when I think of PETA's attempt to get ppl to stop using the word "fish" and call them sea kittens instead. PuhLeeze!!!!!

Being as we live on the west coast of FL and knowing how much hinges on this "task force", I contacted my "elected" officials through the link with Shimano. So far, I have received acknowledgement from 1 of the 3 officials I contacted. And that was an automated reply (shocked that I didn't have to press 1 for English). Haven't found any mention of this, at all. Am I looking in the right places or just expecting too much?

The same people who said he was going to ban guns probably put out this story so sales will go up... I can't get .223 anyplace down here and if I do find it they want an arm and a leg for it. anyhoot. I looked the story up.. I see nothing about ending fishing.. It does say he wants to protect the waters and enviorment. Says he's making June protect the waters month...

gotta go to the Govt to get the real press release not one that's been doctored

Our Nation's economy relies heavily on the oceans. Goods and services are transported across them constantly. They support countless jobs in an array of industries, including fishing, tourism, and energy. The economies of entire regions depend on the oceans. Think about it, he points out that fishing is the key to our nations economy, why would he end it? think about it...

I dont care who the Pres is, just fix all Bush's #### ups and lower racing fuel, gas and Diesel.. please

Senate Bill SB-2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040 federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It will require fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun.

| This bill was introduced on Feb.. 24, 2009, by the Omama staff. BUT . . this bill will only become public knowledge 30 days after the new law becomes effective ! This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act of 1986. This means that the Finance Committee has passed this without the Senate voting on it at all. Trust Obama ? ...... you must be kidding !

Sorry mate, that was the democrat controlled congress screwing everything up. The same people who hold even more power now. And it's going to get much worse if it ever gets better.

If you read the story it originated in 2007 way before Obama was in Office. Then resubmitted this year and still has no interest..

man you gotta go to the NRA you know the National Rifle Assoiation for info on proposed gun bills, at least they will point you in the right direction to the real story
