| Michigan already told the feds to shove their gun restrictions and there's no way Texas will bow to them. There's also enough ammo flowing in under the radar to fight several wars if you really want it. The feds can make all the stupid laws they want. They couldn't stop the flow of alcohol, drugs, or weapons, even with military help. I can't think of anything they've put a stop to.

Cause he did just that, he put his phone down with the dispatcher still on the phone live, he went outside, shot and killed them then came back to the phone and said i just killed them.. He didn't get charged either.. In FL laws that apply to your home apply if you are on the street or if you're in your car. Those laws come without the fear of prosecution too.. If I feel my life is in danger, I dont have to retreat to my car or house.. I do have my CWP and do carry my Scoped Ruger Super Redhawk .44 as a side arm. |

| Yeah, I heard about that guy, that was pretty amusing. Did you see the video of the NAACP guys when they came out to give some speech in the neighborhood? They couldn't say a thing over the sound of all the Harleys revving up and had to leave, lol.

| "The U.S. government attempted to eliminate overfishing in U.S. coastal waters by passing the Magnuson Act in 1976. The Magnuson Act expanded the coastal economic zone claimed by the United States from three miles offshore to 200 miles offshore, preventing foreign fishing fleets from exploiting these waters. However, with foreign fleets gone, American fishermen built up their own fleets, buying large, well-equipped vessels with low-interest loans from the federal government. For several years U.S. fishermen reported record catches. Then these declined. Government officials now report that most of the major commercial fishing areas in the United States are in trouble. According to the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), about 40 percent of the nation's saltwater species have been overfished." Read more: [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. Sportfishermen are not the issue/target here; I don't think anybody's gonna ever tell us that we can not charter a 72' Hatteras and spend the afternoon game fishing. Likewise, a few posters to this thread have expressed concern about being able to trailer their small craft to remote inland bodies of water for recreational purposes. One poster even went so far as to lament the demise of two cycle outboard motors. I'm wondering if this particular person has ever tried to swim in a pond which surface is covered with a multi colored sheen of oil from the exhaust of these things. They've been outlawed from manufacture and replaced with cleaner 4 cycle engines for good reason. This is a prime example of how typical it is that the same certain few folks always seem to misread a given news article and over react and misinterpret the real meaning of the said news. The issue here is commercial overfishing and related environmental damage and has practically nothing at all to do with sportfishing either for gamefish or simple personal food supply. rx

I grew up close to there and can remember blue claws 8-9" point to point; hell ya could catch a whole bushel in an afternoon around some bridges- just usin' some chicken necks, some heavy cord and your net. And you say now they're 2 bucks each for little females? Jeminy Christmas! rx
