Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

No, just smart enough to realize that this all will be greatly modified before becoming final, as most federal policy usually is.

Smart enough not to become prematurely reactionary.

smart enough to realize that chances are good that sportfishing will be completely exempt from any pending legislation. One has only to consider what problems this study has targeted for address- is it commercial overfishing or sportfishing?

Are you perchance Mooney's little brother? LOL

lol I didnt know people actually drank PBR till i moved to FL, I thought it was beer just to cook crabs in..

Posted by REX: One poster even went so far as to lament the demise of two cycle outboard motors.

RIF, or, Reading Is Fundamental. As usual you have added your own personal agenda by posting mis-leading information about someones post, namely mine. Do you see where I lamented the demise of 2 cycle boat engines in favor of 4 cycle? 4 Cycle should have been in use years earlier.

You always want to twist something into something it's not to meet your agenda. You've done that with several of my post on different threads. If you are going to refer to my post, please exact quote them so as not to look foolish. Thanks.

So far the only evidence I've seen that this is targeted only at commercial fishing is your opinion formed in the course of this thread. Considering what else the idiot government has been up to I'd say that's not at all accurate.

By the way, you don't seem to realize that if a bill like this comes up and no one says anything about it, it passes just like it is. So your advice of "Sit there and shut up, they know what they're doing" is idiodic at best.

Commercial fisherman aren't just the big trawlers...
In Cali we have the Dory fisherman who go out at 0'Dark Thirty and use 50 hook ganions with marker buoys to catch rock cod and ling cod......

Then they would sell the fresh fish they caught to the public by the Newport Beach pier...
These guys just make a living like drivers...they won't get rich...but Obama in the name of environmentalism...will put these guys out of work...and then the public will be forced to buy blast frozen fish from the Japanese canneries from Costco and Wallyworld....
