Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

The intent is irrelevant as far as "track record" goes. And as pointed out, what is there will probably not be what we see...just these are enough to oppose ANYTHING if not everything DC thinks(?) is needed.
You make a good point, but I tend to give the more cynical eye to an individual who's motivation would seem to be the preservation of his profit above all else.
Although I trust no one, I'm inclined to trust corporate America a mite less than government.

Individuals can be punished for "wrong doing"...the gov't writes the "wrong doing laws" based on a far more sinister motive. "Profit" a "public office" campaign.

Which is worse? Private profit at the cost of a few, or a "publc REpresentative" profiting "from" the taxpayer who "trusted" them to be "altruistic"?

I'll side with "private" over "public"....at least you know it is "creating wealth" and in spite of the arguments against it, "trickle down" is natural law and some of it will "trickle down".

With an elected REpresentative "profiting" it is MORAL CORRUPTION.

Those "good ol' days" are still in practice....ever been on a Mexican chartered fishing boat?

Americans by and large stopped polluting back in the 70's.....

Don't believe me....Let's compare the beaches from Surfside down through San Diego to Ensenada...........Our beaches are pristine.....Mexico's beaches.....well Rose Hills Landfill is cleaner......

Rex....have you ever been out on open water?????

Sharks are the best garbage collectors......
Sharks follow ships eating anything and everything.......

If you threw feces over the side...Mr. Shark will eat it......

That's why it's imperative to save anyone who falls overboard immediately...
They become "shark-bait"....literally.....

The landfill is on the East side and the cemetery is on the west side of the hills....
