Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

I read somewhere that it is virtually impossible for an ordinary person to put that much money in the bank and spend it.

You'd never be able to keep up with the interest you'd earn.

Yeah it is. I'd be developing an asteroid mining company for a start though. That means starting from the ground up building ships, funding more research into materials for a space elevator, an orbiting shipyard to build bigger ships, an orbiting city for workers, it goes on and on. It would take a massive project like that to eat that much money and here we sit spending it on nothing. Literally nothing. That's annoying as hell.

Local radio show did a bit on Bill Gates some years ago. Can't remember what he made per day but it was some millions. People called in and said what they would do. Like private jet, couple of Lamborghini s etc. Then the host would say "ok what you going to buy tomorrow"? Stumped everyone. you can't imagine how much money that is.

Speaking of Bill Gates, here's a tidbit. A while back an asteroid passed close by the earth, within the moon's orbit. They analized what it might contain. They estimated it was made of materials worth around 483 times Gates entire fortune. One tiny rock.

Boy I'd love to try...just once, maybe can't spend a million a day but I could spend a good chunk of it. Besides I'd have family that I don't even know wanting some.

Let's see Nana needs a new truck, partner could pay her house off & medical bills, her boyfriend has been eyeing a new pickup, I could use some repair work on my slate roof...awe heck just put on a whole new slate roof, my neighbor needs a new buggy (I live in Amish country). Oh come on I can spend it.....

I'm sure i could at the very least improve the lives of far more people than our government has.
