They will fall sideways if the floors below are not collapsing to bring the weight down quickly enough, if sideways is the path of least resistance they will topple, it's simple physics.

Yes, and the floors that were in-tact below would be the 'force' that you were referring to. You said objects don't move from side to side except when they are acted on by another force; this would be the intact floors beneath it, unless those floors were being blown before the weight got to them.

That's the only explanation for the speed in which these buildings fell. To whoever said it wasn't free fall speed you should look at all the video documentation here.. Sure looks like pretty close to free fall speeds to me.

Read my post above, again, simple physics. I was saying the exact same thing that you were. But the floors below it that were undamaged and could have supported the weight would have slowed the process if not haulted it all together. In conclusion the floors below the damaged ones that seperated themselves from the building were the force at work, causing the severed part to fall sideways, rather than straight down.

Oddly enough, it turned to dust just before reaching the ground... How could that have happened if not for something internal? There is no plausible explanation without explosives entering the mix.

Never in history has any steel building collapsed in entirety due to fire.

All the footage dictates differently, though. And that article you posted said that the 'lower floors' were on fire, but the shot is clearly the upper floors.

Moreover, if what you said was true, that just fuels the fire of contradiction even more, sadly. Because buildings don't fall completely down because of damage done to the top of them.

Looks like free fall to me. 5 seconds according to the youtube counter. Certainly not 16 seconds.

In his defense, there was a corner on the left i believe that was the penthouse.. That collapsed a few seconds before the rest of the building, so I think he's counting that as well.

It still doesn't explain much, though. It's a technicality that doesn't defeat the point we are trying to make. There were still in tact floors at the bottom that should've slowed the process.. Even if you are just counting the time at the end.
