Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

Nice side-step. But you didn't answer my question.....how exactly did Oblome get in the way of McCain's son, as you alleged?

good luck with that.
It is not straight down if it is given the slightest bit of resistance (From other floors below it or anything else for that matter.)

The first tower DID tip sideways, check out the videos' of the collapse if you don't believe my "####" I don't have an "Agenda" sir, other than discussion. I welcome both sides of the argument and I am not that set on any one theory whether good or bad, but I am a free thinker and believe in forming my own opinions. That's not to say that roadkill isn't using much logic in his discussion. Again, it's just chatter.

Be as offensive as you'd like. I welcome any intelligent remarks about it, but petty insults are meaningless. It just makes you look like a sheep who believes whatever you are told. You will probably be the first in line to get your micro-chip at this rate At least Roadkill who i've been conversing with on it can use something other than emotions to back up his statements, I appreciate a good thought out debate. I'm not saying i'm right, either, it's all speculation.

Fire CAN burn with-out AIR, or without a larg supply of fresh air. I used to fight forest-fires in California in the early to mid 1970's. I have seen fire smolder in an old stump UNDERGROUND for three years, to pop-up above ground later and start a new fire.
Yes air did flow freely, but the oxygen content that high up is lower than it is on the ground, plus any time there is smoke that means it is smoldering, not a "towering inferno" like people keep implying. I did not see the huge flames poking out of either tower like i did the tower in Madrid, and even that thing diddn't fall.

Ok.....
So Bush is behind 9-11........
The Towers were demoed by strategically placed charges right under the noses of security......

A bunker-buster type missile was used at the Pentagon.....

Now for the the most apodeictic answer of the day: Obama is Jesus and he came here to purge Satan (Bush) from our lives......

Sheesh, a woman makes a run to Utah and you guys argue for NINE pages. LOL

I have three things to say:

To Gummiente: I joined in the jest with WCP about Canada. I apologize for offending you or making it seem that the loss of life of your country men is not noted or cared about. To be blunt......I joined in that jest because of the repeated comments of Noble One as he belittles my beloved country and frankly that action on my part is simply wrong. I hope you'll accept my sincere apology. (The comment about the mounties and the cute red coats comes from my engagement and almost marriage to a member of the Royal Canadian Mounties........*long story*) Again....my sincere apologies.

To Roadkill: So you like my new sig line eh? It's not to "drama queen" or anything right? LOL # myself PM me and I'll explain..........maybe.

To Jimbob: I'm sure your mother loves you very much.

Apology accepted and thank you for clarifying the situation, but I need to make one myself to make things right on my end.

I apologise to WCP, to you and to all other Americans for my harsh response to his post. At the time, I had no idea that it was made in jest and saw it as nothing more than a slight against Canada and our military, which is why I answered the way I did. In my defense, I have found that there is a lot of anti-Canadian sentiment on this forum and elsewhere on the internet and had assumed this was the case with his post. My comment that he lacks knowledge of world affairs outside his doorstep was uncalled for and I really should have known better.

I will try not to knee-jerk a response the next time I see a post that I feel is a slag against my country.

The oxygen content at the upper floors isn't any different that it was at WTC ground level. Well at least not so much that it would have mattered. In fact, the normal person can't tell the difference until about 5000 feet. ([LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. )
The O2 level at sea level is about 21% ([LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. )
The height of the WTC was about 1450 feet (including the antennas). That isn't enough really to affect burning.

"Towering Inferno"???
It WAS an "inferno" to those inside, with temperatures estimated to be 1800 degrees or higher.
Towering?
Well yes of course.
The "smoke" was a by-product; first of the aircraft fuel, then from the carpets and other oil-based products that burned through-out the building.
The WTC and the Madrid building were different coinstruction altogether.
GOOGLE IT, I don't have the time to do your research for you. I am on my way to Hotlanta.

I never belittle America. I love the USA and I think it's a very great country. Many of the best things in the world have come out of America. On the other side of the coin however many bad things have come out of the USA and you can hide your head in the sand about them or you can accept the fact that there needs to be changes made in many areas that will allow the country to be what it really could be.
There seems to be a problem among many Americans about seeing the reality of many less than ideal situations. I can well remember the slogan,"America love it or leave it." This was applied to anyone who dared to protest about things that they saw as not being right.
I have an intense interest in seeing things in the USA being great for all the people there and therefore by extension better for the whole world. The USA has a very huge impact on the rest of the world and particulary on Canada.
