Afghanistan has been called "The graveyard of empires" for centuries. These tribes recognise no outside athourity and all attempts throughout history to subdue them,civilize them or conquer them have resulted in massive failure. It was a worthy mission to rid the country of a safe haven for Al Quada and that has mostly been done. We could easily make a deal with the various factions there that we will leave and let them settle things among themselves but if there are any terriorists coming out of there in the future we will bomb them and destroy whatever government they have set up just like we did before. They are pragmatic people and all they want is the foreigners out. As far as the conditions of the people go that is really up to the Afghans and no one else.

Study some history and see what happened to the British and the Russians during the time of "The great game" which was the attempt of the great European powers to control central Asia. Only Russia had success and that was due to unimaginable brutality equal to anything the Nazi's handed out in their conquered territories. Even with these tactics with which the Russians took over almost all of central Asia they never prevailed in Afghanistan. The sooner we get the heck out of their the better.

I'm a woman. I'm an American woman with rights that equal any American man. We American women fought for those rights for many many decades. We were not aided by some Big Daddy country that came to our rescue. I still fight today for my rights when some idiot tries to deny me any action that I'm promised by the laws of this nation. Again, I am not aided by any Big Daddy country that helps me. I do have a wonderful husband who supports me in everything I attempt.

Now, frankly I apologize to America for my support of the ERA during the seventies what can I say? I was young I was stupid.

It is not my job nor my nation's job to liberate the women of this world. If someone is led to do so then that is their personal choice but this nation is NOT the world's policeman and we have done FAR to much of that. It's time to stop babysitting the world.

We are in this war because some big ol' butt heads attacked our nation. We should finish the job and stop trying to fight it while feeding their people and schooling their children. We don't have to be viewed as the "nice guy" by the world. I don't care if France likes us, I don't care if the U.N. likes us. I don't even care if Canada and Mexico likes us. I want the world to know that if you attack our nation then we will kick your butt up your throat so hard you'll be looking out your zipper.

I don't disagree with you; it was thrust upon us and we took the role out of the good hearts that the majority of Americans have. We also took the role out of guilt. So many Americans are made to feel guilty for being successful, for being free, for being............American.

Yes, it was thrust upon us.....it's time to thrust it back. It's time to say "BULL POOP! We're not going to clean up your problems any longer while you knife us in the back and insult us. "

I do not wish to live in a banana republic and human rights SHOULD exist outside our borders but not at the sole responsibility of America.

Do I feed hungry children? Yes but I feed mine first. It's time America started feeding America FIRST, protecting America FIRST and kicking the butts of those that attack us.

Send more troops, send what is needed and get the job DONE. Stop dancing around expecting our troops to do a job while our government ties their hands and apologizes for doing the job.
