Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

The difficulty of buying a vehicle and maintaining patriotism and political beliefs.

As some of you are aware and a small number of you care, I have to buy a new vehicle. It's hard to surrender my beloved mama-van. (mini vans are mostly driven by mamas thus they are mama-vans) It's an emotional thing to give up Miranda Rose, I've admitted it and I'm working hard on forgetting that the wreck that has forced this upon me was due to my beloved husband's actions. In other words it's his fault and I may yet cause physical pain. After all she's only 12 years old and has a major oil leak. Why get rid of her? *sighs*

Anyway. So I began my search for my new best friend and trusty steed knowing that I would hold true to my political beliefs that bailing out the car manufacturers was WRONG and that I needed to buy only 100% American made.

It's hard.

DARN HARD

I get to choose between a Ford F150 or a Ford Expidition. Now lucky for me I like them both but have you seen the prices?

I can get a chev truck for 15 k less currently because of incentives. It's killing me.

Someone please remind me why I'm doing this.

BECAUSE if you dont hold TRUE to yourself you might just as well go to DC and help those jerks out.....seriously its one of those situations where ya have to put your money where your mouth is and its gonna costs a few dollars to do so.

I know its HARD but it is the RIGHT thing to do, just imagine thinking for the next 12 years I should have bought the ford, I should have stood my ground, I agree Ford is the way to go right now to PROVE you mean what you say, that you truly STAND for somethin.

I feel your pain BUT I also admire anyone who HONORS what they preach so to speak.

That 12 years would come out to about 10 bucks a month. I can do ten bucks a month for my values.

Thank you luvmyhubby. I really needed a boost.

Seriously Nana...you seem like a "Super Duty" sort of woman.......
Get a Super Duty 350 with the Diesel.......

I've always owned fords until my mama-van.

In fact I've always owned ford F150s LOL well there was that escort when we were so poor we couldn't even pay attention.

Heck WCP I drove a F150 standard back in 1972 when you almost NEVER saw a female driving a truck.

I agree buy the Ford, I have always owned mostly Fords. I had one Chevy, one Subaru, and now the Kia.. Ford is the only one of the Big 3 who hasn't received a bail out yet...
