No, you misunderstand. Clinton balanced the budget, meaning we spent less than we took in with taxes. Clinton did not pay off the National debt. Andrew Jackson was the last President to pay off the National debt in full.

So you're saying that since 1948 we have been giving money to Isreal, borrowing all of it from....somewhere....and haven't made a single payment on that debt, ever. This with no evidence, of course. Or rather, as usual.

So as you now can see, at least a few folks have a very weak understanding of taxes, budgets, deficits, and debt.
