Which makes this piece of news all the more ridiculous.

GMAC, the former lending arm of General Motors, is in talks with the Treasury Department for a third injection of taxpayer aid, a further sign of the U.S. government's entrenchment in the U.S. auto industry.
CNBC.com
The Treasury Department mandated earlier this year that GMAC Financial Services raise an additional $11.5 billion in capital after undergoing a "stress test" along with 18 other banks.
While other banks deemed undercapitalized have been able to raise funds from private investors, GMAC has been forced to go back to the government.

Once again it proves that if they can't survive on their own, then let them fail. NO more baile outs for GM..

GM just sold the Delaware assembly plant to Fisker Automotive for $18 million. They'll be building plug in hybrids and putting 2,000 people back to work. Delaware Joe was there to make the announcement

You know, I can't recall any president being dragged into the street and beaten to death by an angry mob of tens of thousands of people. This just may be history in the making.
