You as well have some valid points, roadkill, and I appreciate the somewhat adult response instead of the typical mindless bashing that goes on here, even though we may not see eye to eye.

My "point" is that there are radicals with all different types of people. It is not an issue of race or religion.

Oddly, I sort of agree with your point of view. I am under the impression that EVERY religion has the potential to damn this country. I am not much on any "organized" religion.

I "detest" organized religions......of ALL flavors, for my own reasons.
I TRY (although I am not always successful) to posit an "adult response".
I attempt to think everything thru on an intellectual level, but sometimes; I too, get carried away with emotional issues.

You have to admit the position of it coming up the highway is such that one couldn't miss it if they tried. Never seen one positioned like that anywhere else I've been. All of OH ain't crappy though lol neither is all of MI.

I suppose the reason I dislike the obama bashing is not because I like obama, but mostly because I hate politics. It turns men into children, every single time, without fail and will always end in name calling and crying.

It is a subject I try to avoid at all costs. If I wanted to talk politics, I would be on a political forum, you know? The other forum I frequent (The High Road) is turning into a political battlefield as well, although they have MUCH more strict moderation over there to prevent a single comment from turning into a hijacked political thread.

And yes, I DO realize I am in the politics sub forum here. Oh well.

I don't see so many Christians running around and beheading folks in the name of Jesus Christ nor do I see Christians running around and blowing themselves up killing innocent civilians including women and children.

I'm not a fan of the organized Protestant or Catholic flavors either as they don't teach what they're supposed to and they will go with whatever flow they think will pack their churches. But they're not murdering people.

If you actually believe this, then you need to open your eyes and take a look around you. My first post demonstrated there are many deeply religious christian people that kill in the eyes of God, or believing that they were serving him in some way. They are not put in the media because they do not draw the attention like the suicide bombers do. Not to mention we do not lump every white bread american killer into the same group and put a label on them. Oklahoma city bombing, for instance. If ole Timmy was wearing a pope hat, would the outcome have been any different? No. He was crazy. Suicide bombers are crazy too, and not necessarily because he is wearing a turban.

Here is where you are wrong.

First of all,
neither Ed Gein, John Gacy, Robert Lee Yates nor Catholic church pedophiles were representing Christianity in any way, and their actions were those of people with mental illness.
And those "radical Christians that pipe bomb planed parenthood buildings"? Their actions didn't represent those of main stream Christians and have been thoroughly excoriated by those same "Main Stream Christians".
NOT SO with Muslims, who have remained SILENT when their adherents commit mass-murder.

Well there are other parts of this site you can go to if you can't stand the scrutiny of the "ONE" As long as he is in office we are going to bash him at every chance we get. It is no different then when Bush was being based by the liberal left.. As for the Ilam leader bieng killed, good that is one less vote for Obalbal in 012..
