I thought that the republicans were going to take back congress Last night the democratic party picked up two more seats in congress. One in a very red distict here in upstate NY. I was watching this race because that crazy ##### Palin and all of the nutcase teabaggers supported the third part candidate because the republican incumbant wasn't conservative enough. Well congerats my little nutcase buddies you guys helped us gain another seat. Great job!! Keep up the good work. Oh and I also want to mention this seat hasn't been held by a democrat in over 100 years. Thanks again. Owens defeated Conservative Doug Hoffman and Republican Dierdre Scozzafava (skoh-zuh-FAH'-vuh) in the heavily Republican 23rd congressional District in rural northern New York. Scozzafava abruptly withdrew Saturday and supported Owens. Hoffman has conceded the race. With 88 percent of the precincts reporting, Owens had 49 percent of the vote to 46 percent for Hoffman. The race has been getting national attention, with some calling it a referendum on President Barack Obama and others saying it could help Republicans focus their message to attract more people to the party. Kind of hard to take back Congress when it isn't even an congressional election year. DUH! Picked up 2 of your governorships though. And that is where the real power is. You know now we get to realign all those districts to make it easier in 2010. Gerrymandering works both ways. And Hoffman was a last minute deal and almost pulled it off. Too bad he didn't even live in the district. That was all they had to attack him. Sent RNC valuable message. We ain't putting up with any more wimp, left leaning semi Dim/commie candidates. Your boy Obambi lied again. Said he didn't watch returns. lol And I bet you believe him about the economy and debt too.
