Politics Do Not Pass/Pass With Care. Today's truckers are far more educated and cognizant of the issues regarding politics due to the sharp increase in talk radio, and various trucking news media sources. Talk politics. Do truckers like politicians?

New Jersey, a state that went for Obama by 15 percentage points last year and which hadn't elected a Republican governor in a dozen years

sounds blue as a smurf to me

To say this is some monumental victory from either side is just stupid. People looking for some sign in last night's election is really reaching to say the least. For the Republicans to claim some kinda revolution based on 2 gubernatorial races in states there are far from solid Democrat is ludicrous. For the Dem's to claim picking up 2 house seats is a great sign of things to come is also just plain dumb. Will the Republicans gain seats in 2010? Of course they will. It's the way politics turns. Will there be huge gains that the Republicans think will happen? Very unlikely.
Right......

You're smarter than Nancy though....She claims victory.......
Btw...you're not a bad guy smurf......even for a lib.....

Well actually if you look at the nationwide results you'll see republicans had one heck of a night even picking up a senate seat in the state of Washington. I think this is a wake up call to both sides to stop playing politics, get the job done for us the American people and most of all STOP wasting our money

Of course you ALSO said McCain would beat Obama hands down.

Of course you also know from years of hashing it out with me that I'm not a lib. Or at least you should.

I think it's pretty funny that the Liberals are all excited about Owens winning in NY-23.

He's to the right of Dede Scozzapalooza.

Oh, and he campaigned against the public option.

Sorry Nancy, at best the whole night was a push in Congress.

I haven't checked, but if that's the same area I lived in, I'm not surprised they won. The average wage is $18,000, there are empty houses sitting everywhere, no jobs, welfare people swarming everywhere, a huge drug problem, and the people are dumb enough to believe that the cops have a magic camera mounted on the helicopter that can see through the walls into your house to see what you're doing in there (it's a regular flashing spotlight thing.) The reason the libs won is the place sucks and people with any sense have been leaving in droves for years.

So they can have it. We don't want it.

Up here we have planes and helos flying over with something that looks like a light, but it is a sensor that picks up the heat signals from UV lights people use to grow hippie lettuce indoors, my ex used to have 8 fish aquariums in the house and I was expecting the storm troopers to kick the door in at anytime
