This effectively kills the chance of opening any new nuclear electric plants. No coal, no nukes, no fossil fuel. Sounds like a plan Barry-for disaster.

Yucca Mountain has never been opened so there is no nuclear waste stored in the facility. But if you're good at logic and stuff, you might be wondering where all the country's nuclear waste will go under Obama's "plan." Good question...
...Chu, a Nobel Prize-wining physicist, said the Obama administration believes the United States’ nearly 60,000 tons of spent nuclear fuel should remain at nuclear power plants while a new, comprehensive plan for waste disposal is developed according to a C-SPAN broadcast of the hearing.
The spent fuel, growing at the rate of 2,000 tons a year, now is being held in pools and above-ground concrete containers at reactor sites.
