Real Gun Control-TX Style
Glad I live in a state where we are allowed to defend our lives, property, and that of neighbors. My 1st real job was around corner from this. Black neighborhood. Me dumb white 17 yr old white kid running a service station. Got to be friends with 99% of people that came in. Got robbed once-and never went to work again without my Astra 9mm that I bought the day after. That was illegal then and is still today. But I had my sources. Had several customers killed by robbers and drunks. At least now days they can defend themselves without worrying about going to jail.






Suspected burglar killed, accomplice wounded by homeowner’s gunfire

FORT WORTH — A suspected burglar was killed and another injured when police say they kicked in the door of a southeast Fort Worth home Friday morning and were met by gunfire by the homeowner.
The shooting occurred about 11:30 a.m. in the 4400 block of Shackleford Street.
Sgt. Pedro Criado, police spokesman, said it appears that the two suspected burglars had just entered the home when the homeowner fired an unknown number of rounds at both men.
One of the suspects ran around the side of the house where he collapsed onto Collin Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene, reportedly from a gunshot wound to the head..
The other suspect, Criado said, ran to the men’s apparent get-away vehicle, a red Ford Explorer parked on Shackleford Street, where the homeowner again opened fire.
Police radio reports indicate that the suspect suffered gunshot wounds to the shoulder and head. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital in unknown condition.
The homeowner’s brother said Friday’s burglary attempt was the fourth his brother’s family had endured since moving in about a year ago.
The homeowner was being questioned Friday afternoon but has not been arrested. Police are continuing their investigation, Criado said.

Killing them is the best way, cost us the tax payer less in the long run.

He might have bought himself some trouble by going after the guy when he was fleeing and opening fire again..

Should have drug him back to the house...

UPDATE-#2 burglary suspect has reached room temperature

FORT WORTH — Tarrant County authorities have identified two suspected burglars who died Friday after being shot by a homeowner.
Juan Juarez, 24, died at John Peter Smith Hospital about 8:15 p.m. from gunshot wounds to the shoulder and head, according to reports. Jonathan Cruz, 27, died in the 4400 block of Shackleford Street, from a gunshot wound to the chest, the Tarrant County medical examiner’s Web site stated.
A neighbor told the homeowner's brother that one suspect kicked in the front door of his brother's house on Shackleford Street while the other suspect got out of a parked red Ford Explorer. As the two suspects entered the home, Anthony Hawkins, the homeowner, opened fire, police said.
Police released Hawkins pending the results of their investigation, which will be turned over to the district attorney's office.
