You must not be OTR if you've never had one knock on your door! If you're from AR just go to the Petro in LR, and walk around the back, it usually gets pretty crowded there at night. I had to park in the back once, had one jump from the truck on my left to the truck on my right and vice versa. Hell, I had to park outside the TA in Dallas, the lot was full there and at the J, I had 2 knock on my door! I didn't have my lights on or anything else, lizard called me an arse for yelling at her after she woke me up! LOL! It would be nice if we got rid of this problem, half of these women are little girls (which makes all the truck drivers accepting services, pedophiles!!)!

My husband has always wanted to truck and needs a change from his current career. He thinks that he is too old to start anything new. He is currently in a career that he walks alot so he is in pretty good shape for 51. Any advice is appreciated!

Won't this also make it harder for a company to put BS reports on someones DAC? Could also make it harder for bogus accident claims be placed on lease purchase drivers?

51...heck he still has 20 years or more left on the odometer! Back in 1997 when I went through driving school there were a few in their 50's. All did great and seemed to enjoy it.

i wish you the best but, 2 accidents less than 2 years is gonna be kinda hard at this point. you must not give up hope-- there is a place that will give you a chance. they might have to underwrite there own insurance. try western express.
