Yeh i like the fender camera, it sure helps. I came out of trucking school in July, started with USX training in August, and have been out as Solo Driver for 2 months now. Pay is on sliding scale about 26-31 cts/mile.

Is it true that they are going to a full manual transmission fleet? I heard within the next 3 years the transition will be complete.

I talked to the head mechanic in tunnel hill and said they are mainly getting a shipment of super 10's right now because of issues with the new Eaton Fuller trans are defective. But there is some talk that they are trying to go back to manual transmissions some higher ups say they are trying to bring back the real drivers to us XPRESS. All I hear about since being here is complaints about auto transmissions hallways failing and that 50% of the time the truck is in the shop because. Of transmission issues

8 years, 1,700,000 miles, and 9 trucks (340,000 on this one) and have ONLY been in the shop 1 time for 2 days (this truck) because of transmission repairs.

the thing is they don't spend the 30 min to show new drivers how to drive them.
