Yes, it's all my fault you sent me a preplan for a load that picks up at 1000, delivers at 2330, and the ETA I sent YESTERDAY when I picked up the load that DELIVERS at 0700 (there's a clue there) was right on 11 hrs. You know why your drivers are sitting? YOU IGNORE THE 14 HR RULE IDIOTS. Who would want to stay up 24 hrs for 400 miles anyway, why don't you just have a meeting at all the terminals and slap your drivers right in the effin' face.

Your system needs an upgrade, if you would just fix a few things or hire people to plan and dispatch that are as smart as the drivers with some experience, you wouldn't have so many people quitting. It's an insult to blame drivers for sitting, and is common practice for FMs and other JB Hunt employees. NOT RECRUITERS.

You're a fake, and I think you are gone but I had to say my .02.

I thought that they could only do that AFTER you signed on the dotted line.

How could you quit or be terminated when you weren't even an employee yet?

I have a good one for you regarding the JB hunt recruiters.

I came off a run from Jamaica, NY the other day. I got home at 7:00 a.m. Finally got in bed at 8:00 a.m. (now mind you I had the day off, but still no excuse). I was dead asleep when about 9:15 a.m. I heard my cell phone beep (missed call) I got up and checked it. I had 9 mised calls. (At this point, still half asleep, frantic, thinking something was wrong) all of which were marked as unavailable. I waited around to see if they called back, and sure enough, 5 minutes later they called. Anyone guess who it was??? Yep a freakin J.B. recruiter scumbag calling every 5 minutes till I answered. Needless to say, I ripped him up one side and down the other.

Well, I guess you could say i've joined the dark side now....But It's good so far. (Knocks on wood)

In my 3rd day of Driving (rest time, i'm @ Joplin Petro) I've been running fairly good. So far i'm at 1500 miles in 3 days in an intermodal run. And my Dispatcher seems fairly level. But, as with the rest of the horror stories on here, i'll be waiting another month before going into too much detail...

That recruiter was talking just like the rest that work for Jb,I am willing to bet he won't be there long as Jb treats their recruiters the same way as their drivers, that is why they have out sourced their recruiting to private parties so they can blame that new recruiting agency, someone at JB has to setupp the process and info and that someone works directly at Jb hunt,we are not stupid and the bait and switch and promised jobs only exist partially and don't last. Just like the ole tricky auto ads, this car or pickup stock number so and so goes for this price, guess what<we only have two left, the others costs more, just like Jb and their variable rates and jobs. The more you get from Jb per mile the less you will run,the newbees run their tails off driving and working for peanuts, while the seniors set in wait all over the nation waitng for that load hoping to get more than 1600 to 2000 miles a week,If you don't believe me,ask the new drivers, then the seniors drivers from JB,if they say I am lying to you,ask to see their statements, then decide for yourself who to believe.

Even when my husband did drive he never did nor will he ever drive for a company like JB Hunt!!! If your company is so great why would you have to recruit, and secondly if JB Hunt is so overwrought with work why are they having to sub out their recruiters to other companies to make money. I'm with Smurf! Go ahead and give that $70k a year job to yourself.

Learn how to spell and speak without expletives in every sentence. Truckers, do YOU want to work for a company that does this? (I did for 3 weeks and was horrified! Please save yourself from that same hell) You had better think REALLY hard before you do! WHY do they care so much about us? There are PLENTY of crap trucking forums around that they can spam/recruit...we MUST be hurting them or they would not try this hard. Congratulations to all of you who are NOT apathetic and care! This is PROOF you are making a difference!

Wiseone I would like to have that guy back. Not saying I like him or believe him, but he is right. This forum should have two sided debates like the one you were having before. Obviously, if he recruits or becomes to hostile then do what you have to. I understand that he broke the rules by just being a recruiter, but for all that he is he did seem pretty knowledgeable about the industry. Maybe I'm young and naive but I wanted to see more of what he and you had to say to each other. Besides his first post he mad some good points, and you made counter-points. It was very informative and good reading. Just my thoughts.

EasyRider, there is no way he is coming back after talking like that. A person that speaks as he did is a moron and has little intelligence, period. We HAVE given all 20 of them (who KEEP signing up here) leeway and the ability to speak, they simply want to recruit and that's it. They care less about what drivers need and REFUSE to speak decently. IF they agreed to speak with SENSE and agree there ARE problems, sure! They WILL apologize for that comment before I EVER speak with them again.

IF they contact me, apologize, and agree they have problems that their truckers NEED resolved, I will welcome them back and let them speak! They REFUSE to admit they are EVER wrong and they are the BEST in the country! NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Here are only SOME of the JB Hunt Recruiters:

    Driverrecruiter

Now, you tell me these people aren't idiots. They REFUSE to speak with us and ONLY want to recruit you!
