Class action lawsuits only benefit the lawyers. If you are serious about any legal dispute then get your own lawyer.

WOW, used is used, do an inspection, take it somewhere have an inspection done. If you failed, or you were incapable of doing an inspection your self, then it is your own problem.

Was this Class action lawsuit posted at flying J, written on notebook paper? if so probably just another a driver incapable of doing their own inspection. Most states have 72 hour lemon laws. If you held it longer then 3 days, your problem now, not the used dealer.

i had everything checked out EVERYTHING and everything checked out good, the few things i and the shop found wrong were fix at no charge by lone mountain, even order parts from volvo for some things that were missing (required for teams) a week later when i leassed the truck on and the company did a dot they found nothing wrong.

yes 5 weeks later i did have to have $4700 worth of work done to the truck, 1 egr valve (volvo's go through 1 a year), sleeper air bag (they do leak sometimes), and clutch, and no the clutch checked out good it cracked..! 6 weeks later the a/c compresser went out well it happens, spring on the mudflap broke well it happens, had to replace the pigtail the insulation cracked..... and btw i have had NEW trucks that were in the dealer every 4-6 weeks

did i call lone mountain about this and b____h about it like you do NO why because it's part of owning a truck things will break.....

when you got your truck did you get the vin# and check with volvo to see the repairs it has had done......NO did you call usx breakdown and ask for the breakdown history......NO I DID all that when i was at lone mountain looking at the truck so i knew the repair history of the truck BEFORE i even took it for a test drive....

yes i have had over $5,500 in repairs this year and you don't see me B____Hing about it.....

ANY used truck is a crap shoot (and new trucks now as well it seems)

You have to look over EVERY truck very well and spend more than 20min driving it around and crawling under it. Ask them to let you pull a loaded trailer (most have test trailers) and also request to take it to your OWN dealer/mechanic to have it inspected (yes it costs money)

To be honest tho, almost everyone using Lone Mtn seems to be either broke, have terrible credit or a newbie trying to get into a truck VERY VERY quickly. And experience and track record seems to follow most of the peoples experiences with them..... guys with bad credit always complain and people who are broke always moan when something goes wrong becuase they have NO MONEY or PLAN made for the event of a failure. If you can't afford to buy the truck, then don't.

Things break, this is trucking. So put on your big girl panties and quit your whinning..... or get back behind a corporate desk where you belong!!

Your 100 percent right everything breaks its mechanical it the customer service and service department that make any company try dealing with man hatting drenda smith give her a call tomorrow and from the time she picks up the phone you are finished

    Flood

you are new to lone mountain just give it some time especially if you have a problem give D.S. a call or j. Hoovestol when you have a problem wait to see there response you will truly be surprised

Buying a used truck is a crap shoot and any one should not cry when it breaks but try talking to lone mountain afeter the sale to see what there attitude is try calling D.S. and tell her you are going to be 1 week late on your payment because of a breakdown personal problem etc every one has a problem time to time everyone but give her a call to see how that man hatting low life b___h treats you from the time she picks up the phone and doesn't even know who is on the line try it if you dare and then talk to j. Hoovestol that is a real big joke he talks big on here but when you are one on one the true colors come out he will have to either kill me or whatever i will not stop until they are out of business. And there are alot of o/o feel that way the ones screwed over like me.

I mean no disrespect to any hard working o/o out there but lone mountain truck sales are a ripp off

    Big john

if you got scr__ed you would not have that attitude let us who have been scr___ed vent it out

    J. Hoovestol

you claim ripp off report is a joke you can dispute anything written and have it removed if it isn't true whats taking you so long you have filed none as of today talk is cheap the bbb report 5 un-happy customers o/o that could not get satisfaction from you and your crew they felt this was the only way if you were honorable no one would have filed any complaints against your company 5 o/o had to file bbb complaints also

Again no disrespect to hard working o/o out there
    stay safe

The people at Lone Mountain's job isn't to deal with problems that you are having with the truck that you bought from them, it is to sell you the truck. If you had done your due dilligence and had the truck looked over at a shop OF YOUR CHOOSING, as they suggest you do by the way, you would have no one to blame but yourself.

As far as the customer service goes, I can say I've never personally dealt with Drenda "man-hater" Smith or J. Hoovestol myself, but do you think maybe some of the reaction you are getting has anything to do with the tone you take with them? I've found in this industry as well as any other in life that you get what you give to others in the way of respect, the way you post here and go about your business makes me think that you went to them with a supreme lack of humility and respect, I can't say I would treat you real well either were I them.

Do you let people pay you late because of "tough times or personal issues"? Not if you run a successful business you don't. You entered into an agreement to purchase a truck for $x with a monthly payment of $x. If you can't meet the terms of that agreement then you are in default. Yes, ##### happens but those who run a business in a professional manner are prepared for those things to come up while remaining able to keep their obligations (truck payments etc.) paid. It sounds like you didn't prepare as you should have and like most losers feel it's ALL someone else's fault. Get a life guy, sounds like you'll be out of business long before Lone Mountain is.

One post, OK. Some responses, OK. But the repeated posted need to be removed.
