Happy to be here. I definitely think it is a change for the better. I was pulling a reefer and, even though a reefer isn't all that bad, it IS one headache I'll be glad to be rid of (a LOT of live load/unload, dispatch and CS up your hind end every hour for a temp check, the occasional reefer malfunction...etc.). Just one more engine to give you problems and hold you up and kill your miles.

Look for me companyman! I'll be upstairs mostly except for the breaks and lunch. I wear a gold jacket :)

Thanks TennMan! I hate spending Christmas on the road but ended up being off longer than I planned....so....Ho Ho Ho....Christmas trucking I shall go.

We got our road and backing tests out of the way this afternoon. This morning we did our HOS training and then started on our Qualcomm training. The MCP-200 makes my old Qualcomm look like a dinosaur. This one has all the bells and whistles. The electronic logs seem to be pretty straightforward.....just have to remember to change my duty status whenever I stop.

Going good so far...but have some studying to do for tomorrow so I better get off of here.

I was with Schneider from 2005- 08 then left, thought the grass was greener on the other side, worked for KLLM, Crete and Swift but found out I liked Schneider better then any of the three. Came back to the Pumpkin patch in July of this year and really glad to be back, hopefully this will be my last job. Good luck to you guys and Gals I run out of Columbus Ohio on the home run 7 on then 7 off. :)
