Wrong. Just because someone has a different experience/opinion than you does not automatically put them in a certain job category.

I drive OTR, and have for almost 20 years.

Oh, and I just thought of something.

I have worked for companies (quite awhile ago, granted) that locked the dispatchers away from the drivers. Didn't want anyone to start a fight, I guess, LOL.

All Knight terminals are open. Got a problem? Go talk to someone, face-to-face.

csa.fmcsa.dot.gov:biggrin_2558: Knight is red flagged by the dot? wow. The "driver fitness" percintile is at 78.9% p.s. i'm not saying anything bad here, just some info that i came across the other day at the fmcsa website. Also read some company in MD was shut down because of the csa score, they actually reached 100% ..another red flagged company i saw on there was crst with a 92% in the unsafe driving category...go figure..:biggrin_25521:

    383.23(a)(2) Operating a CMV without a CDL 15 14 8
    383.51(a) Driving a CMV (CDL) while disqualified 19 18 8
    383.91(a) Operating a CMV with improper CDL group 4 4 8
    391.11 Unqualified driver 3 2 8
    391.11(b)(4) Driver lacking physical qualification(s) 12 11 2
391.11(b)(5) Driver lacking valid license for type vehicle being operated 5 5 8
    391.11(b)(7) Driver disqualified from operating CMV 5 4 8
    391.15(a) Driving a CMV while disqualified 32 31 8
391.41(a) Driver not in possession of medical certificate 57 2 1
    391.43(h) Improper medical examiner’s certificate form 3 0 1

I can't be the only one that checked for my medical card after seeing that list. And it seems that the reason the total % is so high is because they got hit with 6 "big ticket" items and CSA freaks out and gives it a superhigh weight score then. They'll have a bunch of things go to a lower "weight class" next month and that will get their score under control, unless they get hit again.

In my experience, if you drive for Knight, you better keep track of your own documents, permits, etc. I just consider that part of the job, but I guess some don't.

Somebody (Safety?) should be watching these things, but...
