Hey all truck drivers, my name is Danielle. While trying to find a home for one of my bull terriers, a friend suggested he would be perfect for a truck driver, and I thought, my god your right! His name is Bowzer, he is 4 years old. I am rehoming him only because he is starting to fight with the other dogs in my home, for the safety of them all, I need to relocate him. He is neutered, and vaccinated. He is potty trained and great in vehicles. He is not good with cats or other dogs, and should not live with children. Now what can he provide you as a truck driver? He is protective, he is a fantastic guard dog, he will watch your truck, watch over you, he is only 60 pounds but he is a pistol, and he is extremely strong. He is weary of people he doesn't know, and will bond to those he loves. This is an amazing dog that will keep you company, keep you safe, and love you unconditionally. He is very calm and relaxed while riding in a car, and can go 12 hours without a bathroom break. He doesn't eat but a cup of food a day. I live in Las Vegas. If you plan to go through vegas on one of your drives you can pick him up, after I have spoken to you and I know that he will be loved forever and not abused. If you tell him to "watch em" he will, and this dog will not hesitate to protect you if you so need him too. He is a strong dog who needs a strong owner to keep him in line. But while you are trucking, he will be at your side happy as can be. If you are interested please email me at zerlettkennel@yahoo.com, I am not sure how many truckers use dogs, but this could be his calling!

spent years training and teaching this dog for him to just be thrown in a yard, he is very well trained and obedient, he would do best as a friend for someone.

Good thing! He looks like a great dog! The junkyard dog was a rude remark in my opinion. Nothing personal to the member who posted that but i spoil my dogs.
Best of luck finding him a great home.

While I understand what you are saying, your perception is a bit off. Those junkyard dogs can frequently be the most spoiled babies you will ever meet! I know more than a few of them myself, and there are some of them that are not happy when taken to a "good home"! Heather is a Staffordshire Terrier, and the one time one of tried to bring her home, she moped around and wouldn't eat until she could get back to her home, and all the tow-drivers, mechanics, delivery persons, etc that she called her friends.

I don't know about those breeds WCP, but I have a kitten here you can take with you. She thinks she's a lapdog pitbull.
