replaced mine a couple of years ago in a pete 379 and all the quotes i got were in the $2600-$3000 range....ended up buying heavy duty clutch, bearings, and clutch brake for about $800 and had a mech/friend do it for $500.....so i got off pretty cheap

I had mine done at Freightliner about 3 months ago, 10 speed autoshift in a Century, cost $2450 for the big clutch. I think it was 1650 ft lb. There were two options I got the bigger of the two whatever it was. If there going to be in there let them check the rear seal out. Well worth doing if you are there already!!!!!

We have local mechanics who do it for around 400 labor, clutch, about 500, bearing, seal, turning flywheel, another 150. this is for regular transmission, not auto-shift.1 day job.last time I had one installed, 1100 bucks. I cannot afford to have a dealership do my repairs.
Be sure to get the flywheel turned.

I would search for a strictly drivetrain shop.
