    For the new drivers, these codes correspond with the red engine light that flashes when you turn the key on. Usually, you turn on the ignition and the instrument panel will flash and beep the codes with a slight pause between each number. Simply count the beeps/flashes, and write down the number each time. When the sequence is done the check engine light usually comes on (unless it's serious and the red engine light stays on).

    Print the original post and put it in your drivers permit book or something so they have a reference for basic troubleshooting.

    i have 2011 t660. recently i got my dpf filter cleaned. but the regen lamp light still coming on and the cose is showing as exhaust trap inlet pressure. can someone let me what that all about. thanx...

    Did you find your problem zx_10_ryder? Trying to track down the same exhaust trap inlet pressure meaning on a friends truck. Does anyone know what part or sensor will cause this?

    Anyone know what usually the problem is on Kenworth code 428, "water in fuel indicator sensor circuit". Not sure where indicator actually is, plug on bottom of filter next to drain? 07 T300 Cummins. Thanks for any insight.

    Hello Sawguy, the WIF sensor is located on the bottom of the fuel filter. Should be the only item on the fuel filter housing that has a wire going to it.

    Thank you, just realized my driver had the oil change guy replace the fuel filters. I only use Napa gold filters, no cheapies. Hope maybe that's it. Light came on same day the filters were changed. I'll be stopping at Napa first thing in the am.
