My son and I work 12 hour shifts 7-7 PST no matter which part of the country we are in. When he's on it's his responsibility and I stay in back and read or surf the net. Normally we stick to 9 hours on duty/drive time a day and each person is responsible for maintaining their hours. When we switch we brief each other on what was going on, any new assignments and what we expect of the other Example- "I'm low on hours so I need 560 tonight and I'll finish the load out tomorrow...our pre-assignment doesn't P/U until ____ tonight so you'll have time to get a shower...GOOD NIGHT and drive safe". It has worked well for us!

I'm sorry. 6? I am somewhat homicidal sharing a space the size of a jail cell with one inconsiderate person. 6 would. .. Let's just say I'm not doing that.
Can you imagine what a joke it would be to split the load pay 6 ways?born&raisedintheusa Thanks this. -
Don't forget to leave out the part about 6 people in there and only 1 drivers license ... Lol
born&raisedintheusa and EHB Thank this. -
