Well I had to turn in my truck Monday, my daughter ran into domestic violence with her boyfriend, she ended up in the hospital. I will be running a gig that allows me to be home on the weekends, running as a company driver.

I had a great time with Eagle, my DM was great, and my lone star ran flawless, Eagle will be the place drivers will flock to in the next 6 months. As they get things together, have more truck and trailer offerings, consistent good freight lanes, it will be a good deal for most drivers. Yeah the lease is expensive, there are a lot of deductions, but you can still make money, won't get rich, but you will make money, plus you can go home when you want.

 

Looking at going to eagle been approved for awhile just been following along to see how others are doing has anything changed for the better do they have the load board up yet what can you tell me thnx

 

That's awful man. I hope she gets well soon, and possibly that her boyfriend doesn't.

I'm sure this was already handled, but make sure your OM knows your situation so that if you ever want to come back, there wouldn't be any issues.

Very sorry about your daughter, but I'm glad you were able to find something keeping you closer to home.

 

I'm supposed to hear from my recruiter Monday hopefully. Once I get approved for orientation what is the wait time on getting a truck and trailer and getting on the road? Thanks.
