do you have a CDL or a Federal internacional? they both are valid in the USA but the perk of the Federal Internacional is that there is no jury duty naggin.
I used to get a lot of Jury Duty summons, when I told them I was no longer a resident those summons stopped.

But I am worried about the discrimination associated with federal internacional even thou I am an American Citizen. I was born in Texas.

No, I operate with a Texas CDL and have no other licenses. As I live her on an FMM Tourist visa, I am not qualified or allowed to get a Mexican Licencia Federal.

Before, in Mexico City (When it was still called DF not CDMX...jajajaja) you could get a regular license to drive cars that was permanent- No expiration date! I took advantadge of that and glad I did as the policy was changed later but as I understood it all the licenses that were issued permanent are indeed valid-Unless it is lost then one would need a new Mexican license from one of the states. But I would be interested in getting a
if possible when I return to Mexico :)

    MexicoTrucker Thanks this.
