So, OP have you started working at there? How do you like it so far?

I had numerous calls from them to set up an interview while I was on the road. It seems they're the only ones really interested in me, since my record is far from perfect, or they are really hurting for drivers.

I put in an application online at ABF and Saia in salt lake, still waiting to hear back. Been two weeks now, I have zero accidents or incidents on my record, not even a speeding ticket in over 16 years.was 22 on the last one lol.All the other companies I checked out don't have any type of benefits, that won't work as I have a stay at home wife with 4 kids, the youngest was born last month...I guess I could take a no benefit job and try to negotiate a higher rate, but it just doesn't feel right. Which usually means don't do it.

Don't wait to hear back; call the local terminal and ask for the terminal manager. That usually gets the ball rolling so you can get an interview.

Yeah, I called abf, the guy found my application, said they're waiting for a few more in the Que.. They're my first choice, then I'm going to call saia. I'm considering conway , reddaway and NPT as backups
