Wow , I've heard this around but this is the first time I have seen it first hand....... image.jpg

Beautiful heavy tractor. 550/18 speed with heavy rears. Some kind of special edition . Icon I think he said. But I was kind of light headed after he said $175,xxx.

No way would I do it......

I have a "stripped" 48" Cascadia on order, single axle long WB, has some nice int/creature comforts, and the biggest hp/tq you can get in a short nose 113, it is north of 122,000

So a special edition, big sleeper big horse HD 900, yeah, I can see it, BTW that's about what the SE Petes are going for also.

It's still the same as a non special edition! Are the words ICON stitched into the seats worth 20-30K over the same spec'd truck with out them? I think not. You can spec a flattop W900 just like that for 145K. W/FET.

    Cottonmouth85 Thanks this.

You should check out some of the Thompson CAT gliders that Thompson Trucks is selling. They will build you a W900 any way you want it with 3406E, C15, or C16 power. I would say less than $175,000 but really with a build like that it might not be.

I'll tell you what though. I found some rattle can Rust-oleum rust reformer spray which coupled with some gloss black paint sure made my frame look like a million bucks in the test spots I sprayed lol.

I priced one out 3 years ago...just to have an idea...$186.5k before FET. I'd spec it a bit different now..bet it wouldn't be a whole lot cheaper tho.
So @Cat sdp what is the lead time for a build? Or you just bought it off the lot bc it's close enough to what you want? lol
What are you looking at sleeper trucks for anyway? Just a bunch of dead weight to haul around!
