well i have just turned in a truck with them voluntarily because they aren't honorable dealer or service company. you pay something every week whether the truck runs or not. the tag system consist of you paying every week and new tag every 10 months, your warranty is only good at their shop and one of their shops killed my Cummins and they refuse to put me in the truck i wanted after sitting in the hotel for 2wks. The owner Louis is a piece of work and their office in Gulfport has plexiglass and securtiy guards everywhere. lol

Your first year of payments is "rent" as stated in the contract and does not go toward the purchase price of the truck. Also, if you use their "program", there is a credit check. They handed me a huge stack of papers to fill out on credit and financial history and the paperwork looked as if they were taking a loan from a bank for the full sum of five years payments in my name and they were being the cosigner for the loan. After looking through all of the papers, I went to Lone Mountain and got a truck. Very little hassle and a straight forward deal. Glad I didn't use ATS. By the way, I had excellent credit and $20,000 in the bank. Expect to spend the $20,000 paying down and all expenses to get the truck legal to haul excluding trailer rxpenses. Most lenders require at least 35% down on used and 25% down on new equipment. This is where a good lease purchase deal can benefit you. However, if you want to pay off early you must pay the sum of the remaining payments. There is no savings for paying off a lease purchase early and sales taxes are deferred until after your last payment is made.
