That's a smokin' deal - you definitely lucked out. I've been pondering the purchase of one of these units. I think I could trust Rand Mcnally maps and routing. I bought one of the Cobra 7" Pro GPS units two months ago when they went on sale at Loves (I used points, so fortunately I wasn't out any cash). The routing is just freaking absurd. On the first trip I took with it - over to DC and then down into SC, it routed me onto some roads that I had no #### business being on in a TT, even though it is supposed to keep you off restricted roads and the like - fortunately I run HHG, so I can always play the "I'm getting over into such and such a neighborhood to deliver a customer card". I threw the darn thing away after two trips - piece of garbage.

Running west on I26 in Columbia SC on my way over to I20, the Cobra wanted me to jump off 26 at Bush River Road and go over to 20 instead of going 2 miles further where the 20 / 26 junction is - it thinks a surface road is a better route in a TT than an interstate. Worst device ever sold to the public.

I'm still of the belief that nothing beats route planning on maps backed up by satelite images on Google Maps / Earth. I write my route on the windshield with a dry erase marker. But, I think I want to try a Rand GPS, I think. I may just be a glutton for punishment. Anyway - that's a long winded way to say: you got a great deal.
