We finally get one person that isn't knee jerking to blame the trucker and pattyj wants to gather up a lynch mob.

Had a guy following me yesterday that was pulling a swift trailer... We were both ungoverned and we both stopped at the pilot in 3 forks mt. I told him that if he keeps pulling the trailer that fast he was going to scare the axles off of it.

Ya'll missed this in the article >> Barfield said. “I’m just grateful he had the knowledge and skills to act quickly and bring things under control.”

If he really had the knowledge and skills. He could have controlled (prevented) this accident by pulling over and taking a nap.

I think you meant give him a "brake" or maybe he should have used his truck "brake"? Or maybe you just wanted a break lol

I seen the video and I wanted to jump thru my screen and shake the ladies neck till she wakes up to the stupid reality on our roads. If that drainage ditch wasn't there he would have plowed right smack into the apartment building. She needs to be thanking the good folks who dug that drainage ditch not the stupid trk driver.

Straight Stacks, truckon and G.Anthony Thank this.

Lynch mob or not. The driver is totally responsible for this accident. All he/she had to do was pull over an take a nap.

It is easier/cheaper to reschedule a late load then one being cleaned up along side of the highway. All it takes is that one second closing your eyes and things could change in front of you.

    truckon and pattyj Thank this.
