Don, you access the insert quote function by clicking on the plus sign in the reply box and choosing 'Quote.' The forum rules are in a sticky thread at the top in this forum titled TTR Important Information Center Threads.

Thanks, dog. The quote I was talking about though, was NOT from this forum. I used to quote parts of news articles all the time, just by typing in the appropriate codes for quote and unquote. But they apparently don't work that way anymore.

That's what I was referring to - inserting text into a quote box. Click on the plus sign in the reply box. That brings up an overlay. Choose Quote. That will bring up the quote tags so that you can insert your text. Alternatively, you can still type it out manually with the brackets. [quot...
