    I'm going to check out the forum but what's up with Flatbed? TMC has a great program similar to Schneider when it comes to vets. Thoughts?

    Schneider or TMC Flatbed Hmmmm?

    I'm looking for someone to argue Schneider vs TMC. Dry vs Flatbed. Pros and Cons to both. I will look around the forum but if anyone wants to answer would be great.

    I decided against Flatbed right now. Maybe later.

    If you had to choose between Schneider and Roehl who would you go with and why? I have pre-hires from both already. I am still leaning with Schneider.

    I am checking out Wil-Trans and really liking what I am seeing. I am going to see if they are out here in my area as far as a terminal.

    @Chinatown Are you familiar with Fastport? Are they just a company that finds jobs or an actual trucking company?

    Haven't heard of Fastport.
    You don't really need to be close to a terminal for home time. You'll be routed home based on the companies home time policy.

    @Chinatown

    I met with my Troops to Transportation instructor today to finalize paperwork for my school. I was telling her I was going to use my Military Waiver to get my CDL before I leave for school. She said there is no need because it would be restricted to automatics. I don't see that info anywhere on the waiver or the DMV site. Do you have any knowledge of this?

    Try to get a CDL without the automatic transmission restriction. Did you drive auto's in the Army?
    Best is to finish cdl school and get an unrestricted license.
    I think Wil-Trans uses 10 speeds. Schneider uses stick shift but is gradually switching to auto's.
