Murder Suicide at Knight Transportation

Actually SEC is a very driver orientated company. One of the better Trucking companies I drove for . Everyone I ever had to deal with where extremely friendly and courteous. Well maintained equipment, and never a problem with my pay. That's why I thought it was very odd to see some of them openly carrying firearms. If your looking for a decent company to drive for you could do a lot worse then South East Carriers. They where some of the most friendly and decent Christian orientated people that's i ever worked for. You just better not go in there looking for trouble or you might regret it. Lol

 

People get fired everyday. Its part of life. Is it any wonder this guy was fired? He must have been a real Class A-1 weirdo loser. My condolences to the family and friends of the innocent unarmed Man this Psychopath murdered.

 

It was a driver that was fired. He shot his ex supervisor.

Look at these Cops in the pictures from the news story. You would think they were in Afghanistan. The militarization of our police is ridiculous.

 

Well if they have an active shooter, what do you expect?

 

I'm thinking this has been building up and finally the troubled driver had enough.It was a horrible day for the victims family, knight and the driver's family.

 

Loner nut job murdered a father with a 2yr old. What a POS! Off yourself in the bathroom if you're so unhappy!

 

I don't like it either but after what happened in Los Angeles 21 years ago, with those two suicidal bank robbers equipped with flak-vests & AK-47s, I figured it was a matter of time.

 

I remember that LA Shooting episode in which police weapons were no good against two armored bad guys walking calmly down the street taking out vested police left and right. They actually hit a local gun shop for larger weapons with better kinetic energy to take em out. That was a very long time ago.

As far as the open carry inside the office, so what? This is America. If you don't care for it then find another Company. I happen to be a licensed concealed carry myself and recall that all my years of trucking I have gone into places where God does not exist and his angels do not tread dealing with threats presented by parasites and predators with my wit, mind and words carefully spoken. And once or twice maybe a blade, tire thumper or even hot coffee. None of which should even be a issue if things did go well on those few days of trouble.

America is fracturing in a number of ways and people like me will be deemed too inflammatory or non politically correct or whatever it is in time. One way or another I do not intend to go quietly into the night or apologize for being a American who loves my brothers and sisters who are the same inclination Nation wide.

As far as being the nutcase going crazy and doing horrible things, I condemn it. And hope that they lock his nutcase butt up good or bury same. Trucking is a service to the United States, our very life blood that flows to keep everyone fed, housed, clothed and in fuel every day and night in our Nation. I refuse to allow anyone who is mentally ill to get away with actually committing a crime with a big rig or otherwise.

There was a person yesterday who spoke to me expressing a fear of immigrant Arabs bringing Jihad with them into our Trucks. I tried to express the concept that anyone who is "Off" in any way will never be allowed to gain the keys to a 18 wheeler. But... I think this will be a problem in the future if there is even one from overseas who is successful in Jihad with a 18 wheeler.

With that said, Texas on Farm and Market 1648 I think cleared a IED from under a small bridge that would have done some damage to Citizens a few days ago. So I see this as a beginning, and also the end of a beginning.

 

Indeed. Which is why I'm glad that I won't have to worry about being around much longer to witness a complete Orwellian society... maybe...
