CA Hwy99 & Ave16 closure, Madera, CA

Good old Madera... the only place where I have ever had an accident in a CMV. Lady ran a stop sign and drove into my trailer at 55 MPH and LIVED. This sounds bad... really bad.

 

Years ago a little car went off I-5 in Stockton and hit a tree. The car was in two pieces, front end and back end. The two young ladies up front were lying unconscious spread out on the ground and their mother was in pieces up on the highway, some of her was in the car and her legs were in the tree. I heard the firefighters yelling for someone to break out a hose to wash the blood off the pavement so traffic couldn't see it. About a week later the city went through and cut all the trees down a mile each way.

 

That is messed up man. What a horrible visual. I was on my way to work a few months ago and saw two men lying dead with sheets covering them on a busy road where I live. Of course it was on one of those days where it was pouring down rain , first time in months, and these kids were street racing or something and hit a little puddle, hydroplaned head-first into an Escalade or something like that. Two young lives taken. It can happen so fast with no warning. . .
