I didn't realize that rates were submitted by carriers after hauling. That is good info. Thanks!!

That data should always be taken with a grain of salt. As dlstruck pointed out even he only inputs his highest rates on that. You can be sure any broker inputting it reports the exact opposite. And then what about all the carriers/drivers and brokers alike who never report any of that?

I used to never know what the average rate was on any lane. Much less report anything. Never looked at it on ITS. And until I upgraded to DAT Power never had access to it, you have to pay to get that info from DAT. Every load I open on DAT Power shows exactly what that specific lane/rate is, or should, or could be on that lane. Today one I looked at said $2.85 out of NC. Several others were in that ball park. But no-one was paying near that.

Most were offering a hair over $2 a mile on shorter stuff and much less on longer hauls to the Midwest. Longer hauls hauls down to Florida was offered at $2 a mile. Whatever they say that average is, really it is irrelevant. In any given moment a given rate to Florida might go down there for around $2 a mile or the next day might be $3 or even $4 a mile.

Sometimes a swing that wild can happen on a lane in a working day. So what I'm saying here is that info is OK for a rough guide but don't set your heart on it being spot on. You're going to have to work sift out the bad from the good out here. And no-one is giving much of anything away, even in good times they don't.

You will have to learn thru trial and error good rates from the bad. And there is no such thing as a bad area to go to. The lane rate info won't teach you that stuff.

There are programs that record mouse and keyboard movements if you wanted to refresh a webpage. You can program it to repeat any length of time. https://www.raymond.cc/blog/make-your-computer-automatically-perform-tasks-for-you/

I use the company ITS account once in a while and don't pay for it. They have a brokerage/carrier account with all the features.

I like DAT Power much better than ITS. Programming your computer to auto refresh isn't going to do you any good with truckersedge, members edge or any of the lower tier DAT load board services. The old loads that are covered never or seldom get taken down from them and the new loads only get posted to them a couple of minutes after they have hit Power. So the information is bad and old on members edge and truckers edge, refreshing them isn't going to fix that.

ITS auto refreshes every 60 seconds so no need to program anything. Their Pro plan is a live feed. I decided to try it for a month. I don't really care for the live feed since I can't spend all day at the computer waiting for the newest jobs to pop up. 60 second refresh is good enough for me. I also don't really care for the broker days to pay rating, rate analysis, or fuel stuff. So far the ONLY things I like that basic didn't have is being able to sort by Rate Per Mile, and being able to hide individual loads or even brokers if they're cluttering the load board. Those two features aren't worth the $150 for me. I'll probably try DAT Power as well but I have a feeling I'll just go back to the basic plan unless DAT is way better.

Which has more flatbed loads? Preferably LTL. Area for me is anywhere east of I-35.
