Thank God I got out before we have to waste losing 100 miles sitting on a engine.

On several Kenworth and my current International ProStar, once I had to do a Parked Regen, it was only a short matter of time until the truck required service at a qualified shop.

Anyone remember that episode of Ice Road Truckers when the woman had to stop on the ice lake and do a parked regen? Talk about the idiocy of pencil pushers. How many of THEM want to be sitting on two feet of ice over 100' of ice water doing a parked regen? Oh yeah, sign ME up for THAT ####.
Rusty Trawler and bottomdumpin Thank this. -

I drive a 2014 cascadia and it usually does passive Regens while driving but sometimes it flashes on me that it wants a parked regen. I put it in 9th gear and hammer down the interstate. Blows all the crap outa the filter out and no need to do a parked regen
Rusty Trawler, Lepton1 and scottied67 Thank this. -
I had a Columbia with an MBE 410 and that thing always needed a parked Regen. I finally figured out if I could drive 30 miles at highway speed without touching the brakes, it was fine. Couldn't always do it, but it wAs possible.
