    Oh yes. It's long gone.
I pretty much do not wish to be awake.
Nor to go to work today

But I don't have a choice in the matter.

Yesterday was so freakish I don't see how Friday is going to be any fun. For several hours HR and I were the only two people running. The box truck threw a belt with a load for British Air. He finally got it up and running about 5:30. Gale and Claudia were both off to the doctor. Chelsea got fired.

It is Chilly this morning. Very possibly under freezing just now. I don't wanna go

Once he got me in the Flatbed the bottom fell out.
Went to Expert Packing for three pc 3k #.
Then to Bollore for 8 more pc. A total of 4 AWB going to American Airlines. While there he sends pick up 4k # at Bollore hot shot to Pasadena. Pulled that and sent 2pc 6k # at Bollore going to Eva Air. As I arrived Bollore he pulled that and said get docs from Nick pick up Expert again almost 4k and deliver to Lan Cargo.
I forgot about how bad (slow) Lan Cargo can be.
And to make things even more fun TSA came around to mess with us. As far as I know nobody got hit with a fine. And they never spoke directly to me.
Anyhow I was at Lan Cargo for an hour and fifteen minutes. Got home at 7:30.

Could be worse. After 7 or 8 AWB including Eva which is one of the places we NEVER want to go, Nick had to pick up stuff that had to be in Houma, LA at 8am this morning. I pity the man....

Sheesh! I got sent to FAR West Houston for ONE piece.
The guy who handed me the paperwork did not mention two. The Forklift driver didn't mention two. I had three other pickups and took off to do them.

At 2:45ish he calls and asks if I got one or two.
Told him I was only told to get one and they didn't offer another one.

At 2:57 he sends go back to FAR West Houston and get the piece i forgot to pick up. Didn't quite make it to Bollore so brought it home. I DARN SURE better get paid for the second run or there will be trouble.

    So 5 delivery tickets today.

And a drop to do first thing in the morning.

    radioshark and chopper103in Thank this.

HR, who was not more than 5 miles from where I picked up, said that if I made a delivery ticket then I will almost certainly get paid for it.

Today I dropped it. Then got a 34# crate for Air France. Then across i-45 to get an envelope with a part inside and then near Aldine Bender Rd. And the Hardy Toll Rd. For a 12# carton. Delivered those and watched most of Paint Your Wagon. I did not remember Clint Eastwood singing. But near the end of it got a Hot Shot from Tenaris to BNSF Intl.

So 4 delivery tickets with todays date.

But NOTHING can take the place of Friday!
7 or maybe 8 today. Came up most of the way home to get 500#. Carried 1182# to one Airline.
Went by the office before heading north to get my check which wasn't there. Finally got it much too late to cash it today. We are going to Katy tomorrow to see a cousin and a pretty new baby and get a freezer.
Will cash it as well as get more fuel one the way.

    radioshark and chopper103in Thank this.
