it would be same as long as it's d16 all the mechanical inside is same the only thing that might change between the two is how the oil pan gets removed so just labor changes mainly. this is just a rough estimate depends where you go to get it done and how much markup they have in parts and labor but will be somewhere in that ball park

    Thanks Nasriza!
Next question... How difficult is this... Is there room to drop the pan without having to do anything special? I have the air bag front end.. so I'm wondering if I can jack it up and let the front end drop enough to get the pan off...
What about rotating the motor... (If I was to attempt this myself)

I have 1,760,000 miles, on my D13 haven't done this job yet , the camshaft only and cups /injectors 4 times .maybe i should do the whole including bull gears ,pistons, heads.
Nasriza, How much for an inframe D13?

its not hard to drop the pan this is the easiest part of this job problem is if you have never done this kind of work before as far as removing main bearing and installing back again torquing everything, I WOULD HIGHLY NOT SUGGEST DOING THIS BY YOURSELF. also being that it's d 16 the bearing torque is thru the roof need to have a torque multplier cuz it's very hard to do by hand.

depends what you want to do exactly if i was you with that kind of milage that you have on the truck i would highly suggest just doing a long block and then you are good to go for a while maybe a new turbo as well. if you just want to do inframe pistons liners head bearings. no turbo or injectors shouldn't be any more than 15K all parts and labor, but keep in mind this really depends on where you take it. that would be ball park idea

    KB3MMX and Johny41 Thank this.

    Nasriza:
Thanks for the info... I am capable of doing the work... but now knowing it will just be a pita...
I've only had the truck for almost 2 years and couldnt get any past service records... I really wish I could find out what was done previously.
    Greatly appreciate the info!
