Please note, deleting the .txt file is only for the Tablets.

Curious, with all the problems I'm seeing in this thread with Rand McNally tablet. Is there a better option?

First off a support thread does not indicate that a product has issues. It should show otherwise that you actually have support during those "Off-Business" hours.

Anytime you do downloads that are 3.9gb you will run into issues if the Wi-Fi is a low quality or you are in a weak area and if you get a bad download this will affect how the App will respond. So, far with a little help with another download the tablets that have had issues are now working with no issues.

If you updated your Tablet in 2016 and you track your miles, do you see 2016/2017 Miles or just 2017 miles?

    Thanks,
    Mark

So I just bought the TNDT80B tablet, worked out of the box. Used the gps & the dashcam. After 3 days the dashcam stopped working. Have done a factory reset to no avail, cannot get the cam to work again. When I open the app, it's either a blank screen or green lines. When I open the camera app the same, but if I switch that to front camera it seems ok. Any tips/suggestions? Any help at all is Greatly appreciated.

On a side note, after reading several of the posts here I'm curious if I've got the latest gps software.. I have

I don't have a "B" here to test, but first thoughts are the Cam went out, not the app. Since you just bought it, it still should be under the 30 day in store warranties if you got it on the road. If not, then contact Rand CS and it will fall under warranty.

Thank you, I figured it may be hardware. Got it at a Love's in West Virginia, home now in Texas. I'll just reset it again, turn it off from the setup page, box it all up & head to my nearest Love's this evening.

Cool... sorry about that... I hate when stuff breaks after you just bought it...

Let me know how the replacement works..
